Our mission is to support our firefighters by providing volunteer support at active fire scenes, official department functions, activities and events. We recognize the service and sacrifice of firefighters and their families with events to honor them and to encourage community support of the Anderson County Fire District and it's members. The Auxiliary meets the first Thursday of the month at 7:00pm rotating the location each month between Station #1 and Station #2. We ask an active membership fee of $10 per year to cover postage and other expenses. We sponsor fundraisers throughout the year for other various expenses/items. The Auxiliary also has miscellaneous events such as pot luck suppers and a Memorial Day celebration to get the firefighters and their families together throughout the year. We provide lunches at training house burns and fire station open houses.

We've all gotten involved for various reasons and participate as our schedules allow. Whether you are interested in being an active member, available as needed, or involved for a particular activity, participation is always welcome. Any resident of Anderson County can become a member. Our volunteer firefighters provide a critical service for the community and we do our part to help support them. You don't have to be an active member to receive the newsletter or join in on any of our activities.
