2006 AWARDS BANQUET
The ACFD annual awards banquet was held in January 2007, a little later than usual. It was a great time for fellowship with one another. The annual "George Kinne" awards were once again hilarious. However, Deputy Chief Cox had a little surprise this year. George actually got an award of his own!!! This is the first time I can remember this happening. We also had some great food again this year. Special thanks to Donna Callahan for catering an excellent meal. Board of Trustees elections were also held. Capt. Brandon Womack was appointed to another term and LT. Kenny Barnett was also appointed to his first term on the Board. Both of these gentleman are your Firefighter representatives, so if you have any questions or concerns on something that is going on in the District please feel free to contact either Brandon or Kenny. The awards this year went to some very deserving members. Please see the photo below. Thanks to everyone that attended. See you all next year., and REMEMBER, George is always looking for the next awards. So be careful, or don't get caught.
