Patrick Krogman is a native of Campbell County, KY and started his fire service career as a volunteer for the Bellevue Fire Department in February of 1978. He also served as an EMT and paramedic assistant until he completed his Paramedic Certification in October of 1983. He served as a Paramedic and the EMS Training Officer for Northern Kentucky EMS until 1998. He started as a career firefighter for the City of Newport,KY. in September of 1987 where he worked until his retirement as a Captain/Medic on September 1st, 2013. He was serving as a Platoon Commander and EMS Operations Coordinator and as the Acting Fire Chief prior to his retirement. Patrick joined the ACFPD on April 1, 2015 when he was appointed as Fire Chief. Patrick is IFSAC Level 1 & 2, KY Fire Service Instructor – Level II, Certified Fire Inspector, a Hazardous Material Technician with specialties in Weapons of Mass Destruction, a Toxicology Medic, and a Fire Rescue & Survival Instructor.

Chad R. Womack

Chief Womack is originally from McMinnville, TN and moved to Anderson County in 1982. He joined the Anderson County Fire District in 1994 as a firefighter and has held the ranks of Lieutenant, Station 1 Captain, and Battalion Chief over Safety and Training before being promoted to Assistant Chief in 2016. Chief Womack also served as the department’s Training Officer from 1998 to 2018. Chief Womack serves as the Operations Chief for the Department.

Chief Womack is IFSAC Level 1 and 2 certified, IFSAC Hazardous Materials Awareness, IFSAC Hazardous Materials Operations, KY Level 1 Fire Instructor, National Register Paramedic, Hazardous Material Technician, Rope Rescue Technician, Swiftwater Technician, Large Animal Rescue Technician, FEMA IS 100a, 200A, 700, and 800 and a Certified Car Seat Technician. Chief Womack serve as a Firefighter Paramedic for the Lexington Fire Department until retirement from the Lexington Fire Department in January of 2022 with 20 years of service.

Brandon A. Brown

Chief Brown is a native of Anderson County. He joined the Anderson County Fire District in 1998 as an explorer. Moved up as a recruit firefighter, then firefighter, and has held the ranks of Lieutenant-Station 1, Captain-Station1, and Battalion Chief over Hazmat and SCBA program before being promoted to Assistant Chief in 2017. Chief Brown currently serves as the Administration Chief for the department.

Chief Brown is IFSAC Level 1 and 2 certified, IFSAC Hazardous Materials Awareness, IFSAC Hazardous Materials Operations, IFSAC Level 1 Fire Instructor, Nation Register EMT, Hazardous Materials Technician, Rope Rescue Technician, FEMA IS 100A, 200A, 300, 400, 700, 701, 702, 703, 706, 800, 804, and a Certified Car Seat Technician Instructor. He also serves as an Assistant Chief for the Versailles Fire Department.

Chris is a native of Franklin County,KY and moved to Anderson County in 1982.Chris joined the Anderson Co. Fire District in 1996 and held the ranks of Lieutenant and Assistant Chief before being promoted to Battalion Chief in 2007.Chris is over our Suppression and Rescue operations and is responsible for Stations #1, #4, and #5.He is also a KY level 1 instructor.Chris is a Captain/Paramedic with the Lexington FD and is also Retired SFC with 21 years from the KY National Guard.

Charles Brandon Woods

Lawrenceburg Native with my wife and son, joined the dept in 1994 as an explorer. 1998, became a firefighter. Has held the ranks of Lieutenant, Captain, and Major before being promoted to Battalion Chief in 20? Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Engineering with an emphasis on Fire,Arson, & Explosion investigations from Eastern Kentucky University. Works for Shelbyville Fire Department as a Sergeant/EMT and Fire Investigator. Is a KY level 1 instructor and oversees the training division for the dept, as well as supervises stations 4 & 5.

Jimmy Robinson

Jimmy Robinson is a native of Woodford County and started his volunteer career with the Woodford County Fire Department in 1997 as a Firefighter and became 150 hour certified in 1999. He later went on to obtain his EMT certification in 2001. Battalion Chief Robinson moved to Anderson County in 2007 and joined the Anderson County Fire Protection District in 2008 and went on to earn his 400 hour certification. Battalion Chief Robinson rose through the ranks first as a Lieutenant at Station 2 and then was promoted to Captain at Station 2. He then moved to be the Captain at Station 1 and later to be the Captain at Station 5 before being promoted to Battalion Chief. Battalion Chief Robinson is now in charge of fire suppression and equipment, as well as the operations of all six fire station that make up the Anderson County Fire Protection District. Battalion Chief Robinson also works as a full time EMT and Special Operation at Anderson County EMS. Battalion Chief Robinson has a long list of certifications, (Swift Water Tech, KLAER – Kentucky Large Animal Rescue Tech, Tactical Medic course, as well as a number of other certifications.
